As we have made strides in the past year in becoming a Home, Haven, and Hub, The Elder Council would like to announce a new initiative in the life of our church. In becoming more of a Home, we want to make overt steps in how we communicate with the congregation. We also, see that we need to fellowship together more regularly, enjoying one another’s company over a meal. We want the body to gather to care for one another in corporate prayer and singing to encourage one another in our walk. We also want to announce and celebrate victories in the ministries of the church. We see that the best way to step in this direction is for a quarterly Sunday night gathering we will call the Family Gathering for all those who call DCC their home church.
We want to fellowship together, encourage one another, and celebrate what God is doing in the life of our church. Mark your calendars for the 1st Family Gathering to take place at 4 PM on June 2nd to be followed by a fellowship meal catered by Ben Landolt. We look forward to seeing you there.
